Looking at a new pickup...what do you guys drive?

My Ford is getting a little long in the tooth and feeling rough....I am looking at Ford again but wondered what others are driving these days.

I can't seem to get my head around buying Japanese....my brother has a Honda now and like it and a friend drove up in a new Nissan pickup the other day.

What do you guys like for value?

    Thanks,

Don't buy a new one, just wait a year or two and get it for half price with low kms.

I like the 2011 Ford super-duties. with 6.2L gas engine.

i went jap and at the moment wouldn't go back to the big three. 300 thousand kms on toyota and its only been in shop twice, 130 thou on Titon and no complaints its quiet, rides nice and pulls well, i still have a ford diesal and only use it to pull a big 5th wheel flat deck.

I bought an 2008 f-150 new a couple of years ago and love it...but like mentioned earlier don't buy new. New trucks depreciate over 30 cents per km. I've been looking at used diesels (ford) and with 100km on them they will likely only depreciate 6-10 cents per Km.

We have a Dodge Hemi now..But will go for a Ford in the fall IF the crop makes it...Don't want to buy either of the 2 looser company trucks....

Thanks guys...with the way things are shaping up, I am likely going to run my current truck...I hate to add a bunch of new debt right now..maybe next year.
