I have a Bourgeault 5710 Air Drill built in the fall of '97 equipped with mid-row banders and 7/8 shanks with I believe 400 lb trips and 3/4 inch knives. In the spring of 2001 we had a lot of trouble with breaking shanks. Seems kind of funny our neighbour bought the same air drill made the same time and he is also having the same problem. Bourgeault refuses to admit that it is a manufacturing problem. Has anybody else out there experienced a problem like this, if so contact me and let me know if Bourgeault did anything to compensate you. Thank you.
