Beg to differ… all parts are available… just redid
ours… Versatile's own transmission so no jobber parts
but essentially the same tranny in everything from 800
thru 976… I bought some gears from wreckers due to
price but everything was available new. IMO.. old
versatile way more reliable than old JD

Very simple! Unitized constuction vs componentized construction.
Roll the front axle away and pull the engine to do clutch or drop pan. Pull the rad to do hydraulic pump. High speed engine shaft, the list is ENDLESS. Labor on the Deere will kill you.
855 cummins bullet proof. Easy component R&R. Atom jet hydraulics available. You couldn't give me a 50 series or older Deere!!!!!!!!!!
