I have a 40' borgoult airseeder with a 3225 tank, my problem is I can't get enough airflow as my hoses to the wings plug when I am putting alot of pounds per acre on. Manifolds aren't plugged and it shows that I have 4500 rpm on fan but am baffled. I need some help...

Could your openers be too worn? On an old JD airseeder I had, it would not allow me to go above about 3 mph before it would plug, and once I put on new sweeps I could do 7 mph with the same product.
It seems that the air needs to escape at the shank in order to have good flow.
Is the fan turning the correct direction?

Do them long hoses sag much. Just something to look at. The newer drills have the hoses running down along the frame and the secondary spitters are upside down to yours, I believe you could adapt yours and eliminate any sag. I run 4500 rpm on a 66 foot drill with no problems. But that is a 5440 tank so fan may be a little different and I use anhydrous so my pounds per acre are never over 220.

do you guys who run your fans at 4500 have problems with damaged seed or seed bounce they seem a little highat 4500.
I realize you don't get plugged main manifolds that way but do you see a cost or am I just paranoid
