    JD 4250 coolant in valves

need a little help, froze motor now coolant venting through upper portion of head and out vent pipe.no coolant in oil.dealer says seal in water pump to blame. motor run for 40 hrs with light misting then for 10 hrs at an increased volume;coolant sludge in valve cover and vent pipe. issue; how much damage if any to upper head components, can coolant seep from head into cylinders while motor at rest or better yet while operating.main issue is the damage restricted to the head or is the entire motor comprimised.

I am not a mechanic but here is my opinion, no it is not the waterpump. There is a weephole in the bottom of water pumps so if it leaks it goes outside. If the hole is plugged it goes in the oil. Oil will turn gray with water. Can you smell antifreeze in the exhaust, i had this happen to a cummins. The cummins have injector tubes which you dont, but one cracked on me. A cracked head or sleeve may do the same thing. If it sits it may seep into the pistons and not get in the oil, but if you get to much you will get hydraulic lockup (piston cant move because its pushing water instead of air). I think the sluge you see is what is not burning or going out the exhaust. Good luck.

mechanic found weep hole to be plugged but no clouding of oil. motor fully rebuilt, head sent away, new sleaves, head gasket, this should have been corrected by rebuild yet no change in misting through vent; only difference it got really bad for last 10hrs causing the sludge to form. I can't see there not being some cross contamination since valvles are lubricated by the motor oil. everyone is saying it can't be a water pump; dealer promised tractor back in my yard today; it should be interesting.
