Nice job Klause, patients is the key, to getting those peas. What variety?

Not sure what you think, but I hate those UII reel fingers, they loose their curve to pull in the crop and eventually don't give the lift action when you really need it.

Also since switching to MacDon's, I always get 6 batt reels, allows you to run your reels a little slower and gentler.

5 batts for the swather though.

Mustard, do you ever have any steel reel fingers break off? On your HB headers do you set the reel clearance from the sickle higher, than you would with plastic fingers? I just find those plastic UII reel fingers loose their shape too easily.

Had a honeyb for 15 years with steel fingers and replaced 1
This was a rigid header so I had fingers as low as possible ( no fear of knife flexing up and grabbing fingers)

The advantage of plastic is on a flex header and If knife flex up it cuts off the tip of a Plastic tip instead of a steel tip
