The trees in the back ground , well everything coated in ice :!
One of the plant around the house
Will be a few days here before even a great Indian Summer makes any difference. And this local area is "lucky"
Still snow covered south and north of us.
Sad thing is the areas that had the most crop out had by far the most snow 10 days ago.
Rumour has it the 100,000 acre guy in the SW had 35,000 to go 12 days ago .
But I guess it's all relative , a lot farms south of HWY 16 to Swift are 50-75 % done - in an area that had a drought last year . And it rained through most of that area again the past 12 hrs.
I would imagine the NE not much better

It is soaking, sopping, sloppy, frigging wet here. I can't see us going for 10 days maybe longer even with good weather. Swaths are mush and snow geese are starting to work thier magic.

We had such big hopes for this weekend as the Canola was coming down so nice thurs 3 points to friday 3 points to sat then as usual after one day starting at 2:00 and ending at 7:30 with major plug. Sunday the Canola would have been dry. Then Sunday rain hit and were back to square one. 20 quarters to go not sure we will get them if the weather doesn't smarten up real soon. Only guys going were grain dryer guys and direct cut canola. Both still tough but one dry the next day.

Another shot of rain yesterday. Man is my yard gross. Can only imagine what the fields are like. Some guys went on saturday but all was lost yesterday.
