Sun was out for a quick visit then cloudssss. 550 cat ponies working ass off avg 2.5mph. Had big rotor humming at 800 so not very grunty even in the 40ft swath, table auger clutch gets a work out though. Broke pto shaft to table, butt welded her up seems ok. 1 mph crawl with other smaller 8 series combine, 9 series other one cant keep up. Finish line in site if I use binoculars. Short days and slow goin!

When I seeded the field had a 8 day rain event. The later is taller and standing up good.the early is a bit flat but most tipped over but should cut.thought with all the frost the straw might go through better now.

Tried durum today. It ends in a 0, don't do the point thing. First one to guess gets the grand prize.

You da wiener, you and a friend have won an all expense trip in a luxurious combine to go back and forth as many times as it takes to finish. This is an all inclusive trip full of Red Bull and chips to keep you awake during those long hrs.

No.1 14.5 prot, isn't that what it's suppose to look like. Was surprised how good it did look, but @ 20% it will look ok.

I'd say the grain in the pail was harvested sometime in September! Not too many outright tombstone kernels or pink fusarium either.

                      Wished mine looked that good.

With all the moisture it has washed out the fusarium. With mildew not a grading factor we are are making money hand over fist. See it pays to wait.

SE of Regina, in the slum of the Ghetto! Need lots to make a living here but I am inherently lazy so I do with, and expect, less!
