Tell them you will take 2 more 9770s.

Plus you couldn't give me the S670 in our country they couldn't handle the tough straw and mud and water. You need big Hp and big combines.

Im a deere fan and that is totally nuts for a price like bucket said get two more 9770s

Let the BTOs take the the first hit on depreciation then buy those (AB)USED combines....

Lots of color flips to take advantage of at Ritchie auctions.

But sometimes an "ass" in the seat of those combines are just that...! Buyer beware. Sometimes "good experienced operators", that aren't already doing for themselves, are hard to come by.

Our three have one more year on the Acreage then its time to move them. We will know next fall how bad its going to be. For Spring of 2018 delivery. Time will tell but if our dollar keeps dropping who the heck knows.

Quick question, I assume the cash price for the S670 is somewhere north of 600000, what was the purchase price of your 2011 9770s? Just wondering about the price inflation in 6 years.

If the Canuskistanian peso drops any further, we will have to go back to farming with mules and oxen. Do not scrap that horse drawn equipment laying around.

That might make the yearly addictions quite expensive .....

20 grand goes a long way to reconditioning them.

That's less than the interest on the difference.

Traded similiar aged 9660,s on these in 11 for 340000 diff. Dont grow much wheat here anymore peas , malt and canola , mainly, can barely keep up to 9770s with tridems now . When running 35t ft heads with a cart and 120 bushel barley. Dont worry first machine is currently in our shop getting the go over. Had a neighbour ask if I was trading these as my stuff is kept in good shape, it's the bloody dollar. Used 2016 670s in okalahoma 351 usd 471 cdn. 240 in 2 machines, 300 in 2 new machines in the dollar. Scary thing is dealership has sold 75 combines within the company I'm told. Can afford it but just can't stomach it.

Yes I pointed out the 2 13 my 670s at ritchie with 570 hrs for 277 in july or Aug in Saskatoon. Pretty bad when I could buy those for cash and have 40 k for recon on them with 100 k left.may buy a third machine at
auction as a backup spread hours even further and run these. Sad thing is I have no faith in a cdn dollar.recovery oIL may stabilize but the govt spending is so out of control everywhere.

And those 1 year old S690 's with 200 hrs sold for $300k. Thats a lot of depreciation in one year!

Deere changed their exchange from 1.26ish in October to 1.35 in November. Probably added $40k per machine. I've heard worse quote then $345 and have also heard not much difference in capacity from 9770 to new
