John Deere 7720 or 8820

I am considering purchasing either a 7720 or 8820 JD combine.1985 to 1988 vintage.What should these combines sell for if they are in good condition and are there things to watch out for.

excellent machines, my only suggestions are try to buy one green lighted, everything will be checked and should run almost flawlessly for a long while. Also if affordable, get a titan 11, the dual range cylender is a real bonus.

The 7720 is a great combine we run a 1988 model and take of around 2500 acres a year with it. If you do not have a 30 foot swather I would sugest the 7720 but if you are set up for double swath or 30 feet go 8820. either one is good.
