Short answer yes
Case and Deer combines are designed for corn / soybean harvesting and are simply not performing well in small grains like canola.
Lexion and other European designed combines are designed specifically for small grains .
That Fendt / Massey was designed in Europe.
Proof is in guys trading green and Red for Lexions .

Its hard to break into the traditional market and take market share from Deere, Case and to a lesser extent NH and even lesser Agco. Lexion and this Fendt (which I assume is under the Agco umbrella) seem they have to "buy"(under sell) their way in. Then they better have equal if not better parts, service and tech support if they want to keep the market share they "bought". Trading in "off brands" against mainstream usually comes at a cost to the guy trading in.

In our area claas is switching machines from every other brand. New used you name it. no other machines can come close to fuel:bushels acres:day or even dealer support. Gotta remember we usually deal with wet straw and swamp ground.
This is just a Massey in fendt colours. In Europe they've been available for a while. Agco also has different machines including one lot like a claas in Europe.
This would be the Massey Ferguson Delta
Here the new agco machine is all grey and called the ideal series. Still one rotor really big grain tank. Tracks are optional but they are a far cry from terra trac
If you had a floating knife on a powerflow header... You'd kill macdon or honeybee over night. Another invention we don't have in NA.
My relates in Argentina own 4 power flows and run them on Deutz combines.Last edited by Klause; Sep 6, 2017, 21:40.
