Cat challenger tractors

Changing a Cat challenger tractor from 65C to 75C or 85 C requires a change of computer chip directing fuel requirements. We want info on this, i.e. who can supply this chip, installation and price. Any information would be useful.

A note of caution! There are more differences between these Challenger models than just the computer chip. Other components of the tractor (ie transmission) would also be different, as the 85C would have to be able to handle more horsepower than the 65C. Something else to think about is that changing the computer chip would most likely void the warranty. I would recommend talking to a Cat dealer, or a Cat representative for more information on the differences between these models, and also for information on warranty coverage.
