    9682 New Holland Hydraulics

We have a pulsation problem on our 9682
tractor hydraulics while running a 3195 Bourgault single fan air tank. The local service guys say its the nature of the beast, but shaking like that 12 or more hours a day cannot be good for the system. Any hints on how to cure this problem?

no hints but do you have an hydraulic howl as well? a friend of mine has and the local dealer seems to be unable to solve it. when i talk to him on the cell phone i can hear the howling over the phone, even in our old versatile. his is a 9882 but probably the same hydraulic. he had plumbed the return from the fan motor direct without the quick coupler. it never solved the howl but he got another 800RPM from his fan.

no howl, anymore so than any other airseeder fan, maybe less than the Flexi-coils that I have heard around here. The service guys figure it is at a point where the high flow pump is cutting in and out but if this is true then by reducing my fan spead on the flow control should get rid of the pulsations and it doesn't seem to change it much. Some suggest adding a second fan for the granular applicator helps but have not talked to any farmers that have done this to see if it works.
