For some information on various livestock scales, you might be interested in checking out PAMI's evaluation report #654. PAMI conducted evaluations on an Elias, a Paul, a Prairie Systems, and a Senstek livestock scale in 1991, and combined the results into one report. For a summary of the report, go to the Alberta Farm Machinery Research Centre (AFMRC) web site (see link at end of message). Click on evaluation summaries; scroll down to the heading Livestock and Dairy Equipment; click on livestock scales.
