    air suspension

I'm looking for anyones input on 4 bag vs. 8 bag air suspension on a tandem truck(with grain box) Two different box companies have told me they would not put a sileage box on a truck with 8 bag air suspension and one company said that they would only put a grain box on, but warned that I may not be happy with the handling of the truck.
Any information on the matter would be appreciated. Thanks

Could be because airbags need time to drain when your unloading. I hauled salt in grain bulkers last fall and we opened both hatch right open dumping onto the ground. If we didn't dump our air manually before dumping it was really hard on the air bags.

Is this their concern or what was the reasoning? Silage usually is not all that heavy in a truck and your leveling valve should be able to drain reasonable well.

We haul water with an 8 bag truck and when it is heavey it is slightly unstable. not terrible but slightly
