about the K Hart drills. The bro. in-law is looking to buy if he can find used but no luck. I went on line and looked for myself, and was wondering what thoughts were. Good, bad or indifferent.

I thought you would steer him towards a Bourgault with MRB'S.

In a few years MRB's are going to a thing of the past. Nobody will have them.

Sorry Shamus were're a little off topic here. K-hart drills no idea if good or bad, Seedhawk, and Seedmaster wouldn't buy. Lakenheath curious about MRB's if you run and don't like them??

Phone K hart and see if you can talk to Kim Hartman(as in K hart) he's a good honest guy that'll give you the info you need or put you onto the farmers that already have what your looking for.

Have not run MRB's but have talked to lots of people who have them. They come to the conclusion that they are over-rated. More things to go wrong. Technology with fertilizer placement and fertilizer treatments will allow farmers to seed place more fertilizer down the road without worry about seed burn.

Plus farmers are starting to realize that nutrient balance is more important than pouring on the N fertilzer. Thus, MRB's overrated.
