    Discbines

I was looking at purchasing either a JD 956, NH 1441 or Hesston 1365. Any comments?

I have a 956 discbine and it works excellent. We can cut timothy hay at 10 mph. Have had no break downs at all.

We have been using discbines for 12 years now, and have tried New Idea, Deutz, CaseIH, and Hesston.
Although we have not owned a JD, there are some in our area, and there seem to be some problems with them. The NH has never gained a lot of popularity in our area. The earlier models were a bit lackluster, but the current offerings may be O.K.
In our opinion, the CaseIH ( or Hesston) is one tough machine. I'm not familiar with the model you mention, but have owned a couple of CaseIH 8312's, and a Hesston 1340 ( same machine, different label).
Good luck with whatever you choose!
