Using a chopper on flax straw - help

Last year we used a blade type concave in our 2388 with some success. This year we used two different types and they failed within hours. We preharvest then cut our flax. Burning straw is too time consuming. A salesman from Redekop thinks their chopper will work if you keep the blades sharp. Would this work or is there a better way to go?

Be careful with chopper, things can happen pretty fast when flax does not cooperate.
