Having trouble this year with our Bourgault air drill, 10" spacing, mid row banders. Never had this trouble before. When seeding into wheat stubble lots of plugging around coulters and the shanks around them.
We've tried new coulters, new sweeps, changing sc****r settings, even moving mid row banders and shanks to different spots.
Last years crop was excellent (except for fall which turned everything into 3's and feed) and we cut it higher than normal, which may be part of the problem. Currently we've rented a heavy harrow and have to harrow it at least twice to get through it with drill.
If you have any ideas please respond, even if it's well past seeding time, as I have to learn for future years as well.
