International Farm Machinery Co? Ltd? Corp? 1936-46?

A question for old timers: In a 1950 fan belt catalog, in the lists of tractor and equipment makers, I find "International Farm Machinery--See CO-OP"(the line is completely separate from International Harvester).
CO-OP was a tractor built by several US midwest farm cooperatives from 36-46 or so(before the Cockshutt Co-ops) but in considerable reading about CO-OP this is a new name.
Does anyone here recall hearing this name as a tractor/farm eqpmt "maker", or seller in the 30s or 40s??? Any comments appreciated. Many thxx!!!

Rain: Many thxx for the suggestion; actually, it was the almost wildly differing postings about the old CO-OPs on ytmag that first piqued my interest. Unfortunately, no one there (or on two or three other antique tractor sites) who saw the same question posted came up with anything. I had (have) hopes someone in Canada might recall it, but it's always possible it's just an error for National Farm Machinery, one of the last builders of the CO-OP.
