    vomitoxin

    We had some barley heat on us. We sent a sample away and it has.1%vomitoxin in it. A pork producer is interested but what are consequences of feeding it. Thanks

    vomi toxin measured in parts per million (ppm) not a %. fusarium measured in %.
    Pig market will usually only buy feed at max 1ppm vomi vs cattle will take max 10ppm.
    feed market usually not overly concerned with fusarium number.

      ok. thank you. i will find out why it wasnt listed as ppm. Perhaps it should have been fusarium
