"Prayer breakfasts" have no place in politics IMHO. They are gathering places for HYPOCRITES who use religion to make them look GOOD in the public's eye.

I get a kick out if those on the left that like to
muddy the waters by claiming that fascism is right
wing.  Fascism and communism are both
ideologies that profess total government control of
a country's means of production; two sides of the
same coin, neither of which are "right wing".  
Right wing ideologies believe in leaving economic
choices up to individuals. 

Socialism is wealth destroying fairy tale that
tickles people's ears with false promises of
something for nothing, while their individual liberty
is slowly eroded away until they have nothing left
but the misery of fascism or communism.

Get real...the word libertarians means nothing...a convenient label for people who don't like the status quo and don't like government policy or the dominant societies interference and control in their lives.

In many ways I have been a libertarian and rebel all of my life but I don't believe in complete chaos of the market place like some do. The b.s. of the "market knows best" is really a surrender to dominant traders who don't necessarily have our interests in mind.

Tom: Our "CONservatives" don't fit the usual definition of a Conservative.
Ours are old re-hashed Reform Party hacks for the most part with a strong dash of Evangelical Christian fervor. Mix this up with a few old PC wind-broke nags and voila...The Conservative Party of Canada. Their motto should read..."CANADA FOR SALE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER...CASH no cheques!"

Our current Liberal Party...a mix of old has-been politicos and wannabees, none having a clue as to what it takes to govern anything. Not a potential statesman in the works.

The NDP Party...out to lunch and concentrating and fixated on Quebec and eastern Canada. Leader speaks well and has nice beard but otherwise is harmless.

Guess we'll have to go with the Greens...we all like our greens.
