Done peas....

Finaly done peas today, most went ok but the last one was a low lying feild that had a sit load of horsetail - not fun. I realy feel for those that had too much rain on everything *** me. About 10 bus below our 10 yr ave but ok 42 bus on 1600 ac. All greens -strikers. Color held up good despite 1.5 in rain. Wheat tomorow for a couple days now. Time will tell, hearing some sad stories there too east of us.
Very wet east of the B'fords, swathers stuck all over.

Peas here are lower than a snake in a wagon rut

Wheat Sucks did one quarter of light land
east of us with sloughs. Looks not bad its
bad. Aster Yellow and Fusarium.
Did one other quarter by us that was flat
lodged shit. Slow moving lots of straw and
yield with grain cart scale is 35.1. So
best will be in 30s worst will be in low
20s. YEA this is suck a huge crop.
All spryed with Prosario. F*C$ cost me
huge this year.

1600 acres of peas, are you kidding me. We tried 500 one year, never do that again. Yields have been going down steady around here the last several years, I think 2013 will be year three without peas.

Just finished the peas. One field went 30 and other 26. Tough go. Dirty and stuck to the ground. 240 acres was enough this year.

A neighbor apparently had his peas yield
6. Yes a single digit six bushels an acre.
I have no idea what went wrong, never saw
the field. A mystery disease? I dunno.
