big problem , i gooffed big time on peas

I have a mess on one qtr. of peas.
I spaced out my pea seeding.
I was loaded on my way to spray the first seeded peas. ( viper) get there and it .had just rained.
so I drove back 4 miles and sprayed a much
    later seeded piece .
I did not want the mix to sit in the
tank for who knows how long .mixed another tank and finished it.

net result, now , it was too soon now there is a lot buck wheat , lambs quarters wild oats, canola .
    it will be a wreck.
    I have to do something.
the peas are at the same stage as klauses pictures.
desperate, I am not leaving that mess .
what ? viper again, pursuit. odsy.
I am open to any suggestion .

If they are under six nodes go in with tank mix of third rate pursuit and full rate assure. If they are bigger go in with basagran. Use lots of water. Then a few days later hit it with assure.

I think they are six node plus, but at this point, I just can't leave it.
the grasses I can deal with.
I will take a hit on yield but
I just do not want a mess of buckwheat.
will basagran alone get them, they are small
        raining right now.
find chem. tomorrow , hopefully, if they are not at a lake

I should have stayed home instead of going to the farm progress show.

at the show you get a little perspective talking to the guys from the south. making 1000 bucks an acre on lentils. land at gravel bourg at 400
            qtr.

we may have to sharpen our game up here, in the middle north west. (where medium size farmers still exist)

beautiful crops all the way ( except for east of Regina) too wet ?

any way ,lesson from trip , better sell some canola, as it all looked good

what is wrong with land at $400,00/quarter?
You can sell that land, say " Merci " to the buyers and relocate.
There are lentils planted Melville, Melfort, Meadow Lake. when those farmers cash in, the farmland will go to $500,000 / quarter. It's going to be awesome!

Lentils at Meadow? Now we're entering the twilight zone. Yes they will work some years but other years they just won't. Remember around here guys grew the Reds for a few years but there was always that chance something could mess it up. What stopped them growing lentils was too low a price on reds ( risk:reward wasn't there). Same guys were trying some again to replenish seed. If a market exists go for it but don't flood it. Leave all the hrs and canola acres for us average operators on the rocks.

Lentils need stress to finish up. Up north, there are too many damp cool nights in early August and they regrow instead of finishing off.

Spray Basagran on a warm day. 30C is perfect. Under 20 is too cold.
