    Pea plot results 2016

Went over the plot results from the Rack today . Up to 30 bus/AC spread, about the same percentage as last year.
if you seen last years data it is much the same.
    Plant health is key. DYODD.

So is it Heat and Odyssey doing the most damage?

We used Odyssey this year and it did seem to hold them back a bit but they were still our highest ever yeilding peas(Raezers).

I like the residual of Odyssey but not the crop liming/yellowing.

Without having to look, does Basagran have any residual?

    Authority in the trials?

    Link?.....

Viper was the herbicide used in the plots .
Heat / gly as a pre burn on half the plot with various fertilizers and foliars
Treflan / authority / gly used on the other half of the plots with various fertilizers and foliars.
All plots where treflan was used showed better plant health and higher yields. Adding micro foliars to viper added Significant yields
Alpine showed higher yields than dry phos.
Overall basically the same trends as last year.
50 bpa was the lowest replicated yielding plots and just over 80 was the highest yielding replicated plots

Our yields were in that same range, top end high 80s (average over whole field) low end mid 50s.

Viper is Bassagran and Solo in a jug.

Solo is garbage. always had wild oats issues, started throwing some AssureII in without the surfactant, 0 wild oats.

Bassagran flashes anything and everything you spray it on, even soybeans, which go 2 shades lighter within an hour of spraying.

Adding a micro with calcium, mg and zinc stops that flash. No flash, no plant stress, no disease pressure = higher yields.

A new U of S study will show some interesting findings also.

Basically that's what all these replicated plots show at the end of the day on in crop herbicides.
