I heard that some people have used full rate assure with 1/10 rate pursuit incrop lentils and it works very well and does not cause crop damage. Has anyone tried this?

There was some research done at the University of Saskatchewan that looked at post emergent Pursuit use in lentil back in 1993. They tried a quarter rate and the wild mustard control was 63%. To get adequate control of wild mustard they had to go to a higher rate where they got good control, but the injury was around 20% and maturity was delayed. No matter what they tried they could never seem to get a good comprimise of tolerance and control.
The other problem these days with playing around with unregistered treatments is that you run the risk of killing Canada's export markets. Just the same as countries banning the import of GMO canola or Canadian beef because of BSE, buyers in other countries are becoming more concerned about what goes on the crops they are buying. I have heard that India is trying to haggle down the price of a boatload of lentils, claiming that the load had bugs that don't even live in Canada. We are going to have be more careful about what we use on crops or we might get our bins padlocked shut.
