Historically where have pea prices been in big crop years?

I am new to growing yellow peas, and am wondering what people have seen for prices in years when they had big crops praire wide. I would assume that 1999 was a big crop year for most of the prairies. I am seeing bids of 4.25 delivered for yellow edible peas, and don't know if these are harvest lows or a decent price to fill ships that are coming.

Over the past 8 years, I've seen yellow edibles priced anywhere from $3.50 to $7.50/bu. It will all depend upon quality and supply. Right now, yes, $4.25/bu is average. Greens took a big jump, however, now at $5.20 FOB central Alberta.
