organic/more margin?

I have been watching with great interest the last couple of years the organic growers grow.There should be some really good data from them on how an organic grower is doing vs a full commercial guy throwing chemicals at it( i am talking grain) is there something we can learn? I have a mid size farm so margin is everything.I guess the way i look at it is I want to grow a more valueble crop off of the same acres,not having to tie up as much capital. any info or comments on where I can get this comparison?
