The agristability program will decide which communities will benefit from the program and which will not based upon past weather. The areas that flooded out in 2005, 06, 07 and resulted in farmers in those communities to have minimal margin within the agrivation program, that have sufferred through the last flood will not recieve less funding and most no funding at all through agrivation. Communities who's surrounding farmers have had good weather conditions and therfore better margins within the program will reap the benifits of the program. Taspayers in the hard hit communities will see their tax dollars go to support farmers that need assistance substancially less than their own community farmers that will recieve nothing.
The good thing to come of this is that those communities likely will be changing their unapreciated vote next time around. Not that the alternative is any better but at least prove a point about taking agriculture for granted.
