Went to Calgary yesterday and the hay trucks are still rolling south. Where they ever found it I don't know. Looked like fairly decent stuff. Five trucks that I saw. I suspect it has a healthy price tag on it!
A lot of hay went into Montana this winter. The American government picked up the freight, which was very thoughtful of them. I even heard of a lot of silage heading south. Some from Ponoka! I guess if you don't pay the freight it could be from anywhere.
Now how come the Americans have no problem with buying our feed but get up in arms about everything else we might try to produce?
