Cell phones and fuel pumps

One of our local OPP detachments is warning people to take the warnings about cell phones near fuel pumps seriously. THey've had 3 fires in the last couple of weeks. One, a guy left his phone on the trunk of the car while he was filling up. It rang, WHOOSH! and the car was completely destroyed. Second one, the guy had the phone in his pocket, it rang, and he got serious burns to his groin, legs and stomach (OUCH). Third one was a woman who picked it up as it was ringing and burnt her hand, arm and face
