    Scentless Chamomile

On my recent trip to Saskatchewan I was amazed at the amounts of chamomile in the diches around Yorkton and Esterhazy. At Esterhazy there were stretches of road where it ran along the ditch for miles.
Now in central Alberta they go ballistic if this weed is around. Immediately sprayed. It is bad up around Leduc and a lot of seeds come in on the hay trucks. this is a very bad little weed that can take over an area fairly rapidly. Mowing only makes it flower lower and once it flowers the seeds are viable. Spraying the plants when in flower is basically a waste of time unless you use a spray with a residue.

I am wondering what kind of weed
seeds are coming from the east in
    those bales.
Just yesterday, in Saskatoon, a load
of round bales came off a truck on a
    overpass.
It was just before the dinner rush
hour,a few bales rolled down but no
    one got hit.
