Reform er I mean Alliance pardon me I mean Conservative

What's with these Alliance people anyway. The job I'd like to have with them is their printer. They change their minds faster then their business cards can be made up.
They figure their doing a big service to right wing politics in Canada. Hold the phone Mr.Harper, it was the Reform Party that split the old Conservatives up out here in Western Canada to begin with.
Now I have gotten in politics to the point I really do not care.

I am lucky enough not to have to worry about the new Conservative vote in my riding, Mr. Larry Spencer the gay basher is my M.P. Now hold on to your socks!!! I don't agree with their lifestyle, I sure am sick of it in my face, and if we ever had a straight pride parade it would be descrimination.
BUT BUT BUT, one can not say some of the things he said and expect not to be ousted.

So I figure the riding next door to me is held by Mr. Goodale so I'm voting Liberal(oh! that hurt to say) He's starting to pump money into Regina allready and I figure he'll help his neigbors out next.

The starting of the Reform Party was the effect!!!
The Mulrony government giving lip service, and thats all, to western issues, was the cause!! Don't forget it.

Why don't they just call themselves the Republican Party of Canada and get it over with?

Say what you want about Mulooney!!!
When he was Prime Minister I received a lot of federal cheques.

I can no longer hide from the fact I can be bought!!!!!!

The Reform Party didn't split the right wing vote. (wake up people) the conservatives were so RED they didn't know whether they were Liberls of NDP. As far as Malroney is concerned (I can't believ how short our memories are {there is no "g" in gulable either}). He had the biggest majority in history and still couldn't bring about parlementary reform. No the Conservatives walked away from the West!!

Politics and policy.... The year has been full of it! The East the West hard times and harder ones to come! To me I look at Canada and I for one am glad to be a Canadian, our lives get eaten up by how our governments perform (or don't perform) whatever they do and whatever small influences I can have on them is just part of my life in Canada.

All I can do is know that it's not always easy to do what's right, but it's always right! If I know that the things I am doing are what I think is right (not meaning I'm right all the time) that's the best I can do!

I love the country, I love the land and I still have faith in the majority of farm families across our country. My goals for the New Year will still be focused on working within whatever system our government, our associations our regulators (and other tiny dictators in and around the ag-industry) put in front of us to build a better tomorrow. I know I can't please everyone, so I won't try, but I will try to work with everyone that wants to do better. If you guys want to keep an eye on the politicians I'll keep doing my best in other areas! Thanks for your help!

I beg to differ with the comment about the P.C. party being left. Their problem was they weren't left enough. That is why the Liberals are doing so well in the large urban area's of this country.
In Sk. we seem to vote N.D.P. in the cities and anybody right in the rural.

As for Republican that's not a bad idea either. The Americain economy looks positive and the people have jumped Bush's popularity up in the last couple of weeks. He can't be doing that bad a job.

Bush is up in the polls! Well what can you say...the voter always is right. I guess we'll just have to let history settle that one!
I think Richard Nixon won the biggest majority ever in his last election...about two years before they impeached the dirty little crook!
I do not like George Bush! I believe he is a dirty little hypocrite who has lied to the American people, who fixed the election, and who is a war criminal! But then who am I? I'm not an American and I don't get to vote for him! I get to vote for all his various toadies up here in Canada.

Here's hoping that the New Year brings in promises of better things to come. Wasn't 2003 the Year of the Sheep? Maybe with cooler heads, and renewed co-operation things will brighten for our industry's future.
