Two Bulletins About Freedom
Note to supporters of the Citizens Centre

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BULLETIN 1
Last night's Citizens Centre rally in St. Paul, Alberta, for gun protester Oscar Lacombe was a whopping success! Almost 400 people attended (in a town of 4,000 people) and cheered the 75-year-old war veteran who refuses to license and register his firearm.
We are planning more Alberta rallies and to broaden the campaign to other provinces. We believe it is now possible to KILL THE GUN REGISTRY.
However, it is more urgent than ever that Alberta and other provinces STOP PROSECUTING. If you haven't yet asked the Alberta government to cease gun registry enforcement (regardless of where you live), CLICK HERE.
BULLETIN 2
Defenders of freedom of speech and conscience may want to attend a legal fund-raising dinner Saturday April 3 at Il Giardino Ristorante in Calgary. (This is not a Citizens Centre event, but it's important.)
Pastor Stephen Boissoin faces a Human Rights Commission fine (and failing payment, prison) for publishing a newspaper letter criticizing the group P-Flag, which promotes homosexuality in Alberta public schools as "normal, necessary, acceptable and productive." His accuser is a University of Calgary professor and zealous gay rights activist.
Two impressive guest speakers: Sen. Anne Cools of Ontario and Boissoin's counsel, noted conservative barrister Gerry Chipeur. Tickets $100. Call Cathy at Chipeur Advocates, (403) 537-6742.
