Daily headlines speak for themselves. Look at the headlines at the bottom. Trudeau ignored by both big pharma and our best bud Biden.

Why is a covid denier so worried about a shortage of covid vaccine? LOL

In hindsight we should have never sold off Connaught labs in the 80s.

We should have invested taxpayers money in vaccine capacity and expanded research after the first round of SARs knowing that another round of infectious diseases were coming.

Instead several governments of all stripes have been happily under funding this most basic healthcare need.

And of course in a pandemic crisis when every country wants a vaccine yesterday those who have the most power and vaccine production capacity are the ones who get the vaccine first.

So there are 10 provinces plus the federal governments that could have funded vaccine production starting last March. Which provinces stepped up to the table and said we need our own vaccine production facilities and will build it in partnership with the federal government?

Hindsight, Justin was a terrible choice.

And in foresight ( I seem to recall a certain political party composed of grown ups telling us this at the time).

In hindsight on this issue, it was every Prime Minster going back as far as Mulroney that dropped the ball on vaccine production capacity.

Trudeau just happened to be the Prime Minster in the largest pandemic in a 100 years when it really matters.

But on this site most of the posters don't want governments to interfere or invest in something the private sector could be doing for a profit.

So now we know why that doesn't always work to our advantage.

So were Ford, Kenney, Pallister, Legault demanding that Trudeau build vaccine production capacity in Canada back in March 2020?

chuck, the vaccine is so the terrified can function again and I wont have to pay for them.

I am happy to wait until phase 4 trials are done.
