Snow in Beijing

I am tired of the Covid banter and decided to investigate the climate around the Winter Olympics in China as I wonder what it is like for the athletes weather wise. It took a few seconds to find out that pretty much all that snow is man-made, the huge snow machine roar all night to produce the bases necessary for winter sports. The temperatures are above zero right now in one of the driest areas. It sounds like it is possible to create ideal conditions anywhere.
