The guy is an egomaniac.
This kind of stuff must realy bother him as he seemed to think those were his people over there.
Media are ripping him a new one.
Not just the unaceptable fringe and redneck knuckle draggers on the hate filled SM that he is going to censor.
In all the pics BOJO never even made eye contact.
He looks like a clown.

Just like Harper said a phase out 2100? You probably voted for Harper though.
Its a transition to other energy sources when and where possible.
Putin just sped up the process making renewable sources much more attractive.
And Trudeau he purchased TM and is building TMX. Yup sounds like he wants to shut down the Canadian oil industry by expanding TMX and exporting more oil from the west coast. LOL
But the knobs on Agrisilly have repeated the mantra that Trudeau is going to shut down all the oil and gas industry before we have any other options. Pure fiction from the hinterland.
But But But Trudeau killed the oil industry!
Meanwhile the price of oil is heading for the stratosphere. Must be Trudeau's fault since he caused the price to start going down in 2014 before hew was elected. Right? It wouldn't have anything to do with supply and demand would it?
And climate change is not an issue even though almost every country in the world wants to reduce carbon emissions from fossil fuels? Nah. Its a hoax just like covid was. LOLLast edited by chuckChuck; Mar 9, 2022, 08:45.

Furrow good to know you are on side with Harper about phasing out the use of fossil energy sources to reduce carbon emissions and your only concern is the time line.
Fair enough, we need viable alternatives before we make the transition. But that was a given no matter who leads. Because nobody is suggesting we can make the transition without something to replace fossil sources.
That's why coal generation is being phased out and replaced with gas, hydro imports and renewables. And Alberta is at the centre of an aggressive move to more solar and wind sources. All because their largely deregulated electricity market favors lower cost renewables because they make economic sense.

We produce 1.5% of the world carbon emissions and sink carbon for them at no charge.
We are totaly insignificant as emitters but huge as a carbon sink yet we kill our economy while they move to world domination with cheap power.
Coal normaly prices around $50 to $100 ton currently at $500 due to extreme demand.
Nobody pays any mind to you Chuck because your a parrot. You wake up in the morning and come here squawking the same thing with no comprehension of the big picture.
Greta is not in the news cycle. Get a new line.

After traveling with Mr Treadau and company for 5 days on the last day a senior CBC reporter asked Freeland if instead of touring around Europe doing photo ops they might have made a few calls or Skype from home as they left a lot of important buisness here.
Things looked a little uncomfortable for a bit.
When after 5 days the CBC asks that you know things are getting bad.
He might get canned or demoted. Certainly won't be on Treudau's plane again.
Teach him to stay with the program.

Every country can claim they are only a portion of the greenhouse gas emissions and it's someone else's problem.
But Alberta is still busily building lots of wind an solar capacity and they have shut down or are in the process shutting down coal and switching to gas regardless.
And EV manufacturers are releasing many new EVs and sales are growing and about to take off.
So shiteforbrains, who doesn't know what they are talking about? Look in the mirror. LOL

Rig companies are having a hard time finding workers. All the easterners screwed off back east to vote for Trudeau and collect cerb. If all this bs about pipeline optimization is right and Mexican oil isn’t in USA pipelines then maybe we can speed up the shovels at Fort Mac. There’s months of work to bring old wells back online. They spent a couple years ripping every last piece of equipment off of every shut in lease to save tax. Heck I bet it’s a year of full out work before we see anything going on cold wells in heavy oil country.
