    Just a giant double standard.
That in itself is a massive subsidy.
But that doesn't change the fact that both wind and solar easily beat all fossil fuels when it comes to the full life cycle assessment of greenhouse gas emissions per kwh of electricity. Therefore the big lie that wind turbines don't produce more energy than it takes to build them is total bullshite!

And you also forgot to add to your list the fact that the fossil fuel industry is not covering hardly any of the costs of cleaning up its facilities and are in fact passing most of the costs onto taxpayers.

There are literally thousands of abandoned, orphaned and suspended oil and gas wells in Western Canada. The cost to taxpayers for cleanup will be in the billions.

Do they all have only a 20 year life span? How do you know?

So what do you own on your farm that lasts forever or doesn't need to be repaired or upgraded?

Fossil fuel power plants are often rebuilt and upgraded as well and have limited life spans.
