Holy shit you are so blind with rage and hate you missed my point completely. I fricken agreed with there being lunatics in the ucp as well as your beloved ndp. Oh sorry I just made an assumption. See how easy it is to jump to conclusions. Grow a brain

This what I was getting at. But you still haven't addressed the blantant hypocrisy of conservatives condemning socialism but then supporting it??

And the far right fascist and bigots on the fringes of the conservatives are far more dangerous than any other fringe group.

After April 9 Kenney can go and work directly for the WEF. They have a war in the Ukraine to run so will be needing his help. I fear that the recent rule voting rule changes are to make it easier for the ndp to keep Kenney at the helm of the UCP. I am one of those 'lunatic' far right in that I am both fiscally and socially conservative who voted UCP in 2019. Life begins at conception and continues to natural death and we need to celebrate this fact. You really have to follow the science.

Chuck2, read in the National Post Feb. 19,2022: Barbara Kay: Trudeau’s hypocrisy regarding foreign funding should be evident to all. I thinks hypocrisy and politics go hand in hand..

Personally I think the NDP’s Socialist Caucus is just as dangerous.

Sure it is hypocritical I will agree. So is socialists wanting government funded programs but against resource extraction and for stifling government regulations. I do agree there is enough nuts in the ucp. I think we agree but it’s definitely not exclusive to the conservatives. My bias is conservative but realize the nuts make us look radical. If you with your political leanings can thrash the conservatives but not acknowledge your camp has its lunatics too then it makes you look hypocritical. Sad thing today with polarization of politics is whatever political leanings we have we subconsciously condone the lunatics in our camp. So we all look like hypocrites.

You don't have to go to the fringe on the left.
There is widespread belief that economic growth means the end of the world. Or put another way if we can stop economic growth the world will become a better place for a larger portion of the inhabitants.

Seems to be basic playbook for our current leadership.

As I said before, every party attracts more than enough lunatics.
But it is only a problem when it is a right leaning party.
The media gives a pass to the left leaning lunatics, and latches on to any and every right leaning lunatic, and smears the entire party or movement with that image.

Case in point, the truckers convoy. Pat King hitched his horse to the convoy, and in spite of the organizers insisting he had nothing to do with it, the media painted everyone with the same brush.
Or the single instance of inappropriate flags ( or plants depending on your perspective).

This is why conservative leaders such as Harper or in this case Kenney have to keep their lunatics on such a short leash. Because anything they say or do will be held against all conservatives in every election until the end of time. Regardless of how tenuous their connection to the actual party may be.

We will see how embracing lunatics helps or hinders your brand with the federal coalition. Much as liberals have shifted left to make ndp irrelevant these days, siding in with them is akin to selling out their centrist support. It’s all fine and dandy until the liberals piss off Baystreet. NDP holding the balls will ensure that happens.

Not sure how credible of a judge Kenney is of who the lunatics are given Kenney posted this on his twitter feed this morning. Seems a little questionable for a Premier to be posting classless memes highlighting violence.

It was particularly tasteless and low class considering that on the same day he could have just reposted this excellent thread from the esteemed environmentalist Michael Shellenburger which sends the same message with actual facts and links instead of a silly meme.

Unfortunately, it seems that people's attention span is so short and intellect so low, that the only way to communicate is with pictures or emoticons. Even a tweet is too long for some to comprehend, let alone an article or a book.

Low information voters. It is unfortunate how politicians, government in general, businesses and others dummy it down for the masses. It isn’t generational neither as propaganda and advertising from the past did the same. It is disrespectful and patronizing to the populace at large to assume they’re all stupid. That said if you treat them like they’re stupid they tend to fall for it. Watch a Canadian Tire commercial. What happens if you treat your audience like they’re intelligent and don’t blow smoke up their ass? Maybe you lose the dummies but maybe you gain their respect and support. I hate being duped by propaganda or offbeat theories but the information out there has an agenda.

Here is another article for you Chuck2 in the National Post, Chris Shelley: Maskless Ontario Liberal rally a reminder our political parties aren’t as different as they want us to think.

A good article pointing out how a tightly packed room full of Provincial Liberal’s kicking off the upcoming campaign was for the most part maskless! More hypocrisy?
