Covid, shingles for those never vaccinated against chicken pox, host of others are viruses, but I warn you get vaccinated against the doesn't care, or you will be playing a risk game over reward that has the risk coming with a whole lot of pain.

These waves are not even close to being over. Each one more infectious than the last. Reach that peak, and then let it mutate on the deadly it missed in alpha and delta build up.

Then, this new wave doesn't bode well for the rest of the world either.

Not sure if you have been following the stats, but it seems that the mRNA vaccines are no longer effective against Omicron or the new variants either. With not only cases but hospitalizations, ICU, and deaths having closed the gap, or even gone the other way recently.

We should be paying close attention to what is going on in China. It is liklely only a matter of time before it gets here. And probably nothing we can do that will improve the outcome, short of locking ourselves in our homes for weeks as well.

Vaccinations and boosters are still effective at preventing the spread and severe illness in most people.

Viruses evolve and vaccines need to be updated as well. So its wrong to suggest vaccines are not still working or are not a good strategy.

They sure do evolve, especially if they have been goosed up with a little bit of GOF research and then trying to experimentally vaccinate the world during a pandemic with a non sterilizing fake vaccine.

None of those vaccines will ever move past EUA.

The images of Shanghai are very disturbing. Leftist nut jobs on the loose committing atrocities. People screaming for help as they are starving. People's pets being euthanized by the thousands. My guess is that one of the motivating factors for this hellish distopia is that china has run out of food. They need all the $USD coming in to service existing debt and are having trouble buying commodities at the new higher price. Cheaper stuff out of Russia should help there a bit. Using zero covid to reduce population of people and animals. They will expand this zero covid insanity to other cities soon. Wonder when this program will start here? Can't believe there are idiots still on the loose that think the jabs either here or in china have any health benefits at all.

Covid zero might have been an excellent strategy back in late 2019. When it might have contained it.

In 2022, all it is going to accomplish is to break the already strained supply chains.

We will save our hospitals from collapsing due to patient load. ( Which is ridiculous, since it was in a state of collapse all along due to demographics and the fact that the only way to match supply and demand when supply is free and demand unlimited is to starve it of funding and therefore ration the services)

And they will instead collapse because they can't keep the lights or heat on. Can't maintain the buildings. Can't feed the patients. Can't get the medical supplies. Can't fuel or maintain the ambulances, or maintain the roads to drive them on. As all of the productive member of society get repeatedly locked down, unable to produce anything.
