When you get a chance talk to A4 or did you forget he seems to think EVs are the way of the future? He must be a marxist! LOL
Seriously, revisit your track record on this topic. According to your predictions, we should have commercially available solid state battery EVs, EVs cheaper than ICE, solar and wind cheaper than fossil fuels, etc.

And why would you keep bringing A4 into the discussion after he keeps tearing apart your EV delusions?

This is the thing Chuck doesn’t have an EV while AB4 does. Who will you believe?

Actually have a plug in hybrid. Good EV range for a commuter and gas ICE for long distance.

You are impatient and testy to boot. A4 seems to think his Tesla works well. But you don't have one? Jealous?

Its a transition and an evolution to cleaner tech. Its going to take time. But don't let that stop you from predicting it will never work. You the oracle of Alberta can predict the future with certainty?

Wind and solar are already some of the cheapest forms of generation in many places. But you always blame renewables for increased costs but never provide any numbers to back up your opinion. It would never be higher gas and coal prices, or market forces, deregulation or system costs that are rising?

We are waiting again on the oracle to provide the hard evidence which never seems to arrive! LOL

Chuck, you can be a very frustrating student at times. Occasionally you have a breakthrough and it is so rewarding. You finally use the proper disclaimer that wind and solar can be cheaper forms of generation. It is only when you try to turn that unpredictable unreliable generation source into something usable at the same time and place as the demand is taking place. It would be as if I claim that my irrigation system is really really cheap when it rains everyday.

            Keep up the good work.

And for the record, you have given specific timelines for solid state batteries in cars in the past. And those have long since elapsed.

              Fair enough I stand corrected.

Must spend a lot of time in City traffic compared to the average farmer to make a plug-in hybrid worthwhile. They are most definitely a good fit for stop and go commuter traffic. But the experience of anyone I know who has tried one who lives in the countryside, has been that they are of no use for this purpose.

Considering that his neighbours have proven that he doesn't even have the infamous solar panels he claims to have. Of course I believe he is a capitalist farmer with a plug in hybrid...

Now some of the agrislly brainiacs are back to I don't have solar panels nor a plug in hybrid! LOL

And plug in hybrids don't work in rural areas? Huh. Even though trips to town can be easily to covered by their battery range?

They are a better fit in the city for sure, where its possible to use them primarily as an EV but you can do a lot of driving within the battery range in rural areas.

So contrary to the resident contrarian they work fine and can be an efficient option.

If chuck and his clueless crew have their way, we will all be huddling around candles for heat.

The EV scam is the 3rd biggest hoax perpetuated on the public in history, a close runner up to climate change and covid.

Fords new EV truck has a range of 85km pulling any sort of load. Wow progress, my F150 can go almost all the way to Calgary without a fill, in the winter time yet.

Jazz maybe you will meet A4 in his "scam" Tesla in Calgary.

By the way how is your bitcoin investment doing? LOL

                          And Trump is still President!

And when my hired man can buy a used ev for $2000 and keep it running with spare parts they have arrived.

Just happens we are trying out a hybrid Jeep Rubicon. You plug it in for 14 hours and you can drive for free for @bout 22 km. It’s kinda cool. You can sneak outta the garage without anyone or anything hearing you. It would be awasome for city slickers who just go to work and back home. We are glad to have a tank of petrol for back-up or we would never get to Saskatoon.

Are you plugging it into your neighbors outlet, and letting them pay the power bill?
Not sure how else the 14 hours of charging is free?
Or do you have a current bush to plug into?
