Putin thought he had the propaganda down pat last February when he had us all convinced he could roll his mighty military into Kiev to a welcoming population that wanted to be ruled by the strongman who didn't take shit from a bunch of weak leadership.
He thought he had been preparing for years and had the whole deal spun up and ready to execute.
Only he didn't figure on the will of the Ukrainian people to fight back.
Severely underestimated the ability of the stand up comedian to rally them.

Putin is sending soviet military surplus still with 1970 era t-72 tanks which wasnt a bad tank 40 to 50 yrs ago. Still takes 3 to 5 javelin hits at 175k each ...wait till they bring In the new t-14 armata tanks or the new su-57 fixed wing aircraft. truth is... nato is fighting soviet era technology while depleting there own industrial war machine. When we were there about 5 years ago many businesses were boarded up from a recent storm at that time. Albeit, this storm was severe, but there’s a good reason that insurance companies don’t cover much flood damage. It’s risky building in a swamp on the edge of the ocean.

The su57 looks to be an impressive jet if it actually exists beyond prototype. Beauty of Russian aeronautics is they don’t derate anything and leave it up to the pilots discretion how far they push it. Russia is still king of artillery and air power is more a supportive role to infantry and artillery. Even training and tactics more geared to that than air to air combat. Maybe Russia has all these pros waiting for the cannon fodder to exhaust Ukraine and NATO. Hear the conspiracy nuts around here figuring the Chinese are hiding in the forests in Canada and USA waiting to strike. Then there’s that other one about the cartels smuggling uranium up through the drug channels for making dirty bombs to set off in major population centres. Probably some truth to it but some is a figment of an over active imagination.
