The only math I wish to see, is how many tonnes of carbon has the carbon tax removed from the atmosphere.

When you do something that is supposed to have an impact and effect that you are after, why is it an impossible numbers for the alarmists to give?

yep , no problem telling exactly how much is there , or how much something emits (excepting cement plants in keebek , they emit 0)
or blood soaked oil from the middle east , it arrives with no emissions, pristine almost
or the coal living BC, clean , no problem

We are still waiting on DA5 to tell us how much better life on earth would be if we just went back to pliocene, 5.3 - 2.6 million years ago.

The pliocene was last time CO2 concentrations were above 400ppm and the earths average temperature was 7 degrees F warmer and the ice caps just about melted completely.

This is just like his other bonehead ideas that we are going to run short of CO2 if we don't keep burning fossil fuels and that we need coal pollution in the atmosphere to make it rain.

DA5's idea that everything will be fine under a pliocene climate and not to worry about rising CO2 levels is the exact opposite of what every credible scientific organization and institution is saying.

But DA5 the class clown can't seem to provide a shred of credible of scientific evidence to backup his wild and crazy ideas. No surprise there. Because none exists. But that doesn't stop him. He's a follower of the new "alternative facts". LOL

I am confused Chuck2, according to Berkeley.edu “The Pliocene, 5.3 to 2.6 million years ago, was a time of global cooling after the warmer Miocene.”

The Pliocene lasted 2.7 million years yet climate alarmists tell us we only have 10 years to save the planet. History would tell us the climate alarmists are wrong! Lol!

JW’s predicted end of the world 30 times. Kind of coincided with head office getting short on funds. Bit of a parallel there? Jonestown Solar Temple Heavens gate predicted their ends and made it a reality. Some of the alarmists are embarking on a self fulfilling prophecy intentional or not.

Chuck seems to be avoiding trying to explain why every previous era with warm temperatures and the resulting high levels of CO2 were described as optimum by scientists. Yet if the same conditions were to occur in the modern era it would apocalyptic.

And keep in mind that it was Chuck himself who brought the word optimum into the conversation in the first place. Then spent every subsequent post arguing with himself.

When your belief system requires that you have to rewrite history and prehistory, it may be time to consider that it may be your belief system that is wrong, and not the historical facts.

So brainiacs, which scientific organizations are suggesting that climate change is nothing to worry about and the climate of pliocene is better than the current climate for human habitation so we should want to go there?

If you think that would be the case, get yourself a convoy and placard and head for Edmonton and Ottawa to spread the good news!

Any wingnut who thinks that the pliocene would be an optimum time for humans really has slipped off the edge of the flat earth! LOL

Can you define the word optimal?
