Yes a demand to drop the border vaccine restriction was a huge part of the reason they were protesting which eventually came to pass anyway. Canada was one of the few countries that still had that restriction in place. Most people thought a character flaw may have been responsible for the delayed opening and not the ghost science that the government swore by.
Some protestors did want the unpopular government to step aside but I think cooler heads would have prevailed when choosing your negotiating team and left the crowd dragging the lariat behind them at the camp fire.
I still think the government missed their opportunity.
Booked hotel rooms for a month among other points. Only a demonstration. Once they parked all their trucks the jig was up.

There's two ways you can deal with that information if you were the government knowing that the truckers are there for the long haul:

Show the people of Canada that the govt isn't the arrogant, my way or the highway group that we've all come to know and bring in a series of meetings over a number of days with the protesters. Negotiations do work if you have the right people at the table. Even if both sides failed, govt should of tried.

Or you can portray the protestors through the state owned media as evil anti-vaxxers, racists, misogynists who stole food from the homeless, and who terrorized women on their way back from burning down apartment buildings. Knowing that the truckers had many days to do these crimes, and after pleading from the homeless gentleman who's food was stolen, the government would then ride in on their horses, save Ottawa and the rest of Canada and their polling numbers would jump.

What type of protestor were you AB5, when you participated at the border blockade at Coutts and prevented hard-working blue-collar taxpaying citizens from their day-to-day business activities?

Without a doubt, you are exactly the same type as to those who participated in the railway blockades of Feb 2020.

Based on the testimonies so far, which individuals from each splinter group of protesters should the government of Canada negotiated with Rumrocks?

Maybe you missed the govt and police testimony. They were just as splintered as the convoy was and they are all a couple blocks from each other. The convoy was cobbled together in mere weeks and came from every corner of the country and you expect them to act like a union or something. That was probably one of the most organized protests in Canadian history.

At least the convoy reps didnt shy away from testifying. Where is Ford and Trudeau and their minions.

They had a team of lawyers as their face and all the govt had to do was tell them to appoint a group to sit down and have a meeting with and it would have all been over in a weekend.

Watching the hearing its clear that with a Disfunctional Ottawa police service,Disfunctional Convoy Leaders and ZERO help from Doug Ford who could have sent OPP in- the Emergency ACt Should have been put in place SOONER

After swearing on the Bible the convoy witnesses sure can Lie thru their teeth and cry on demand. and conveniently FORGET any info that hurts their "POOR ME" look. Bunch of ****in LOOSERS
They show Zero empathy towards the citizens of Ottawa and seem to think they are entitled to their entitlements.

Just got back from moving cattle, pretty easy job in this weather except for the usual dozen or so who act like teenagers.
Rain, snow then freezing is not friendly for net wrap.

Your asking the wrong guy who should have been on Team Convoy to meet with the govt.
I did watch a bit of the Tamara Lich questioning and I think she would be one. She doesn't strike me as a BLM molotov type of person but I was thoroughly disgusted by the comments people were saying about her. I don't know much about the others.
Have you been watching much of the commission and if so who would you give the nod to.

Okay let’s not go down that road with regards to his leanings pertaining to his desires of the flesh. Only his significant other will have a good grasp of that and who knows what goes on there. I’m getting the vibes of a Ramstein concert.
