Don't you see the tiny blip on the right end of that graph? Where CO2 and temperature are moving up together. Blown all out of proportion by the logarithmic scale on the X axis? That period of correlation which represents 0.000002% of earths history. Surely that is representative of the entire history of the earth(the 99.999998% of earths history, in which that correlation did not hold true), and can be extrapolated forward with 100% confidence.

I really wonder where climate movement is going with all this.I kind of understand the thought of having a greener earth for generations to come, but at what cost.First of all is reducing CO2 really going to have an effect .Next point is reducing CO2 levels and putting nations in serious economic positions really a benefit to the next generations.

Like lots of things nowadays, all that needs to happen to get ppl on board is a few things.
Left wing governments
Bought off news agencies
A fake consensus of supposed experts
And then drive home a point by repeating it over and over again until the general population who can’t think for themselves believes it
It works with gm crops, organic crops, climate change, Covid protocols, that there are more than two genders, Monsanto hate, firearms hate, on and on it goes.
It is to the point now, where there is so much bs happening and the citizenry is so lost for common sense, that I don’t see it turning back until it’s too late. It is too late imho.
The lack of common sense is truly un believable out there

It must be really hard as a rightwing conservatives to see all the change in the world over the decades and over their lifetimes. No doubt the conservatives lamented how bad things looked during all the progressive changes.
If only the world and society would stop changing and we could go back to the good ole days when white men reigned supreme over all the brown people and women didn't have the vote. LOL

But then you liked Sheep's list of several things that have nothing to do with this thread so why are you complaining again? LOL

Years ago my neighbour said we’d be growing our food in flower pots. Far a cell cultured meat it’s like hydrogen powered automobiles. It’s been 5 years away for 30 years. I’m not against the cultured meat stuffs as demand for animal proteins will outstrip supply. What I have read cell cultured meat can be made but many hurdles are present with flavour and texture plus for whatever reason some are allergic to it. Not to mention the ability to scale it up in an economic and less energy intense fashion vs real meat. I find it silly people would go to the pains of say building a solar array and storage system to power a factory growing meat while the cow does it for nothing. If people truly want to go vegan cut the bullshit with imitation meat. Lentils, beans, seaweed, and tofu can offer a complete protein package. I guarantee protein calories per acre and energy put in vs calories produced still fares than a heated indoor facility. I’ve said for years the cow calf sector in Canada at least is shrinking back to areas no good for crops. We’re feeding calves to unprecedented weights to make up for shortfalls in numbers. We haven’t truly seen a beef shortage yet.
I’ve read these articles from such utopians and I won’t discredit them for their feelings unless it has potential to put us jeopardy if it gets the ear of those in power. There are complex interdependencies in all sectors of the economy which if turned upside down cause untold suffering of millions if not billions of people. An 80% reduction in farmland and I’m assuming he is alluding to grazing lands and acres dedicated to animal feed goes in the face of the biodiversity that he is espousing. Speaking from a Canadian perspective how much grazing land has been turned into farmland again to fill demand for canola and cereals? Really how much of it is intended for animal feed? Wouldn’t the land and environment benefit from perennial cover and biodiversity at times? These types of articles and the people who write them leave out a lot of reality
