Europe had a dependable power grid based on coal and Nuclear.
They shuttered much of thier baseload after making huge investments in intermittent renewables.
They also have their own shale gas but won't frac to take advantage of a resource they are blessed with.
They choose to purchase gas that comes from US fields that developed when your friend Trump pushed fracking through.
Lots of hurt coming there yet as more nuclear and coal is scheduled for shut down. Putin isn't involved in those decisions. He does benefit.

You will need a long cut and paste on how renewables are cheaper to explain how Putin caused it.

Germany and Canada signed a plan to ship hydrogen and ammonia from renewables in the Maritimes.

Trudeau bought TMX to expand export capacity for crude oil.

LNG Canada is 70% complete on a LNG terminal at Kitimat based on the coastal gas link pipeline.

Most of our surplus gas has gone to US over the years. It has only been in the last 10 -15 years or so that the US ramped up gas production and we needed to look for other customers.

But according to the negative nellies Trudeau killed the oil and gas industries.

But Alberta has a massive surplus based on higher oil prices and the oil companies are making record windfall profits.

I guess the oil industry isn't dead after all!

Perhaps it is time to try a new strategy. Perhaps, even try staying on topic and answer the difficult/awkward questions in your own words.
