The problem is that unreliable energy generation, and EV's, and the destruction of reliable generation are being mandated by governments in the here and now. Whereas, the improvements you have been promising all exist somewhere in the distant future, using technology which does not exist, and in many cases defy the laws of physics.
When the foundation of your panacea is built on the promise of non existent technology all the government proclamations in the world won't make it happen. Just look at the early years of the Soviet or Chinese Communist system and the mass starvation as governments mandated and attempted to enforce food production. We have learned nothing, and this will end the same.

Some states in the US have declared used tires as OK to burn as biomass.
I guess they may contain some natural rubber thar comes from trees?
Solves the recycling problem with tires that currently amounts to hauling them around to Central storage piles.
They can burn them with the wood pellet from the Co2 harvesting forests they cut down.

Government mandates are the only reason much of this stuff has ANY value.
