The difference being, the parts of Canada that require liberation right now, will well welcome them as Victoria's liberators this time around. At least, be well-armed portion of the population won't put up any resistance. And the segment of the population who is opposed, is also the least willing and able to defend themselves. Being unarmed and woke won't be an advantage in the coming confrontations.

The USA doesn’t need to fire a shot nor make anything official. With deglobalization and a push to an American centric trading sphere the greenback will be the defacto currency in Canada. I’m not pro either way as I see the good and bad for us in either scenario. Chinese demand for raw materials at the present scale will not last and unless we can add value and consume it on this continent it will be low value otherwise. Pax Americana baby!

As the years progress the west and east are steadily growing apart. It is just the way things happen. Politics aside there is little to no need outside of government administration to have much to do with one another. The west looks south and west. The urban east are more inwardly focused rightly so. Warfare or kooks will not break this confederation apart but most probably apathy, neglect, and diverging paths. As alluded before even the ccf was result of Saskatchewan people neglected by the federal government. So this isn’t a right or left thing necessarily.
