It's hard to read too much into the results.

But Mad Max still got 17% in Portage Lisgar which is significant considering the Cons put massive resources into the riding including a visit by PP.

Liberals won the Winnipeg riding easily with the son of Jim Carr stomping the Cons.

The Cons had a narrow win in Oxford with 40% to 36% over the Liberals. A big sign the Cons are not as strong as they think they are especially after all the infighting in Oxford amongst the Cons.

NOTRE-DAME-DE-GRACE–WESTMOUNT it was 50% to the Libs and 13.5% to the Cons. The NDP beat the Cons with 13.8%

All this happened with the worst Prime minster in history who is so hated? LOL

Pierre is too progressive on LGBQT issues and climate change for the PPC crowd on Agrislly and way to right wing for most centrist Liberals.

He is being pushed from the right by the PPC which will split the vote and doesn't appeal to many centrist voters in the cities and suburbs where it counts the most.

There is no guaranttee he will win the next election, even though it should be an easy feat with a tired unpopular government. PP has too much negative baggage already.
Can you honestly tell your kids and grandkids this POS is doing a good job for Canada ?? Some day they will ask you ?
Would you run your finances this way ?
Whatever you are getting paid to spew this horseshit , well , you should be ashamed of yourself

So CASE you sound really disappointed with the byelection results! LOL

So you think you can shame all the voters across Canada who don't agree with your point of view into changing their votes? Good luck with that.

I just pointed out that boy wonder's cryptonite is moderate centrist voters who find his angry no solutions brand, doesn't appeal to them.

He appeals to his hard core Trudeau hating base base, but he needs to win an election by appealing to moderate voters. He hasn't figured out yet that he is not running for the CPC leadership again apparently.

When he does and if he does, you will still be disappointed.

So far he has failed to hardly move the needle even after months and months of Trudeau mistakes and ethical lapses in the a very difficult inflationary period.

Its a sign he may go down in flames trying to lead a rightwing party that is really unelectable in many parts of the country.

Trudeau has been allowed to carry on with the blessing of the NDP support . Without that , Trudeau would have been out the door a while ago

Yes and like it or not a large majority of voters in this country vote centre left so the NDP support for the Liberals more accurately reflects the electorate than a western based, rural based party led by PP who is doing a good job of keeping the party in a small tent.

Even former Progressive Conservative Prime Minster Brian Mulroney endorsed Trudeau's leadership in a recent speech. Poilievre and the party are driving progressive conservatives to the liberals.

I am not a fan of Trudeau but PP is not up for the job. He has even less experience outside of politics than Trudeau and has been collecting tax payers money for far too long already. He's a good talker and attack dog but is weak on ideas, solutions, and leading.

But he is good at riling up the Cons with angry and divisive rhetoric! LOL

PP and the CPC have showed very weak results in the last few byelections losing votes to the Liberals under Trudeau. Losing votes to Trudeau after his many recent fiascos? LOL

Poilievre and the Party are either going to move to the center or lose the next election. They should have stuck with Erin O'toole. But they are an impatient and indecisive rife with infighting and extremist factions that will never be happy.

How is PP going to handle the LGBQT issues when his own party has prominent members of the LGBQT community in his shadow cabinet? The party might just blow up before the next election over this issue because its a no
            win issue for PP.

That's why I hope the so cons keep dragging their so con hate of the LGBQT community to the surface, because it will drag the CPC and poor PP down.

What appeals to me about Pierre Poilievre is talk of governments doing less.

Less spending, less regulation, less gatekeepers stiffling our economy, just less government intervention.

Let Canadians make Canada the great country it could be without the government virtuous distractions.

Majority of Canada as a whole. Tiny minority W of Ontario left of centre.

CC says no ideas, because the ideas destroy left woke crap, endless big gov, spending and biased media.

If nothing changes, getting out of this shitty marriage with the E is the ultimate solution.

Most out W are mad as hell.

Yah you are mad alright. In both senses of the word!

But mad in the hinterland of Alberta doesn't win elections!

The cities in Alberta just voted NDP with 44% of the popular vote.

You are not going to separate no mater how mad you are.
