    Gophers

How is everyone doing with their gopher wars? We’ve cleaned them up a lot but still have some.
We tried 3 types of bait and the gophers push ithe bait outta the hole, so, we took out the Double Destroyer fume sticks, the gophers pushed the burned sticks back out too, so now onto drowning the hole.

Gophers apparently don't like having to use dynamite to dig holes in our grey wooded clay soil. Had one lighter ridge they used to like, eventually shot them all. We do now have some mellow black soil which the gophers love, but a few years after converting to crop land, they moved away to the neighbors.

Gophers and Rats can be cleaned up with exhaust. Just run a hose off exhaust down the hole for a few bit and fill it up with fumes. Old vehicle with choke out just a touch works best.

Saw this once, don't know what ever happened to it.
Saw a 50 acre solid dog town eradicated in one trip. A foam rig. Took a little time for a crew to do every hole. But all gone unless you miss a hole.

Foam safer. No wants to fill those little NH3 tanks.

What’s in the foam that kills the gophers? Or would they just suffocate in the foam?

Yes. From what I saw. Like a heavy soap foam, fills the hole completely. Some struggle out, you can just step on em.
